MONDAY:
Mommy stayed home and we went to the mall for some quality shopping time. I got new clothes for the warmer weather and a tote from Victoria's Secret. It's pink, therefore there is nothing wrong with it. :) When we got home, Mommy went to the pediatrist and had a few things done. Unfortunately, her foot was bothering her, and she stayed home on Tuesday.
TUESDAY:
Mommy stayed home again and basically left me alone while I did some work that Dr. Slaughter had assigned for the research. We made cookies in the afternoon while we waited for Daddy to come home for dinner. He was late, so I ate before him. In the evening, Becky and I had a long discussion about tomorrow's activities (RODEO DAY!) and parking and such. I think we've got it down.
WEDNESDAY:
Today I was home by myself and that gave me time to research several things for comps, namely the hypertrophic pathways and how the good and bad pathways differ. I'm still working on it, waiting for Daddy to come home so we can eat. At this moment, I'm blogging, researching cardiac hypertrophy, and listening to The Bird and the Bee ("My Love"). I am so excited for tomorrow! Over the weekend Becky disclosed her true feelings towards beard-wearing, and I was a little disappointed. I did get a nice dress to complement my boots tomorrow. Mommy and I had a nice fashion show when I got home:
Me: Is it too short?
Mommy: No! You look really nice. It's a cute dress.
Me: Okay.
(TWO MINUTES LATER)
Mommy: Are you sure you don't want to wear leggings? There are some crazy people at the Rodeo...
Me: Nah, I'm good.
Well, I'll be sure to take plenty of photos at the Rodeo and you'll be hearing all about it later on. Until later!

Spring Break 2012 - Day 3
SUNDAY:
We woke up at 9 and got ready for mass at St. Theresa's. Following mass, we went to La Mexicana and enjoyed a delicious fajita brunch. After La Mex, we went to Ross for some quick shopping and we discussed plenty of things like Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Chris Brown... it was quite the detour into that conversation:
Radio: We found love in a hopeless place...
Becky: It's your BFF.
Me: My BFF Rihanna. Yep. Nawww you'll always be my BFF. She can never take your place.
Becky: Damn right.
Me: Besides, if she did, you'd Chris Brown her for sure.
Everyone in the car: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
After Becky went home, Mommy and I went shopping again, filled up the car, I spoke to Katy on the phone for a while (a nice surprise), got our Sunday Frosties, and came home.
I just now woke up from a LONG nap. I think I should go eat my leftovers for dinner. DELICIOSO!

Spring Break 2012 - Day 2
SATURDAY:
I woke up around 8am by habit. It wasn't that relaxing :(
Mommy and I ventured about Houston, going to the bank, Ross, Target, Randall's, HEB... we got some shopping done for sure. In the evening, Becky came over and the family ate a delicious steak dinner, prepared by yours truly. Becky and I then watched Phantom and I think she thoroughly enjoyed it...
She may have had a few criticisms...
Later that evening we enjoyed a beer with Jesse and Joseph at a new place called The Hay Merchant. Becky and Joseph were deep in conversation, so Jesse and I didn't really talk to them much. We were having way too much fun on our own with the menu, people watching, South Park quoting, deep discussion having, and making fun of the other two. Love it. Following the brews, we went down the street to a 24-hr Greek restaurant called Theo's. We arrived home at 2:30 and went to sleep. Plenty of fun was had by all :)

"I'm on my way-ay... I'm on my wAy-ay-ay... Home Sweet Home!"
(How hard do you love Vince Neil's shorts?)
Yep! Today I get to go home to Houston. You know what else is happening today?
IT'S TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Man, today is gonna be all that and a bag of chips. I'm all packed and ready to go. Last night, I talked to Jesse and I did an advanced announcement of my return to Houston. I had planned on calling him this evening when I got home and pulling a Kyle Schwartz on him, but I figured I'd be with my family, so I did it early. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, it's this:
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOODNESS THAT KILLS ME EVERY TIME.
Anyways, I should probably have some breakfast/lunch... brunch. How I forgot that word is beyond me. I'm a little embarrassed. ("You should be.") Well, 'til next time!

BABY, BABY, BABY, OHHH! BABY, BABY, BABY, NOOO!
More like baby, baby, baby, yes.
Yes. It is Justin Bieber's 18th Birthday today. I am totally getting my Biebs on by (1) listening to his music and (2) wearing his perfume.
HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY, JUSTIN BIEBER!

| It smells so good... |
It really does smell good. One day, Becky came over and I believe we were going out somewhere... I don't quite remember where we were going... but I had put on my Someday and the following conversation transpired:
Becky: You smell nice. What are you wearing?
Me: Someday by Justin Bieber.
Becky: NOPE. I take it all back. You smell terrible.
Me: NOPE. YOU ALREADY SAID IT! IT'S OUT THERE!
Becky: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
That was a fun time. Well, I hope you all have a lovely day. NOW I'll get back to packing up for my trip home. Do me a favor and listen to some Bieber for me. I honestly love the music. It's so much fun to dance to and just get all 31 flavors of silly. Take care now!

SPRING BREAK 2012! IT'S HERE!!!
Spring Break 2012 is officially ON! Today we had a very controversial discussion session in Human Infectious Diseases. It wasn't how I had planned on wrapping up the first half of the semester, but it was pretty interesting. We talked about such subjects like euthanasia, the fate of 10 embryos being fought over by a now divorced couple, etc. We also talked about fun subjects like pheromones and identifying a compatible mate, the color red making women more alluring, decoding the genome before implantation to determine what traits your baby can have... it was one of the best classes I've had EVER.
After class, Dr. Slaughter and I discussed our Volvos and our issues with them and what we liked about them... My Lucius is acting up and his alarm goes off for no apparent reason. Perhaps an obese pigeon keeps sitting on him, setting off the wee-oo wee-oo wee-oo! I lock him from the inside and out, and he'll still start blaring out of no where. The other day, an email on my phone woke me up (DROIIID) at 5:30am, and while I was turning the volume down and trying to get back to bed, I heard the faint sounds of Lucius's alarm going off in the parking lot. I was (1) embarrassed, and (2) annoyed. I got up, grabbed my keys, headed outside, and his alarm stopped. I was really ticked off. Hopefully I can get it sorted out before I leave tomorrow for Houston as Claire will be driving me to the airport and Lucius will be staying behind in the parking lot.
Right now, I'm going to finish writing this, finish packing, take a nap, eat some dinner, watch some more South Park on HuluPlus, dance around in my room, sleep... I'm so happy to be heading home. I can't wait to see my family, my friends, and my babies! I will have time to myself which is not a foreign concept, but that means I can work on comps and read up on this article Dr. Slaughter gave me on rat hippocampal neurones in vitro. I am so excited for Spring Break! I believe I told y'all that Becky and I are going to the Rodeo on Thursday to see ZZ Top... that should be buckets o'fun! I am looking forward to seeing other friends and hanging out, drinking, socializing. Yay!
Well, I suppose I should keep packing. I'm feeling not too motivated as I don't have my dvd of Shaun of the Dead (the official packing movie of Alejandra Narvaez). Oh well... next time I update (aside from the separate post I intend to write after this one) I will be in Houston! YAY!!!!!!
Until next next time...
